I REALLY like this one! Probably because it reminds me of Snoqualmie Falls, BEFORE they cleared everything away to add the lodge and observation deck. In fact, I liked this painting so much I tried to duplicate it in my Horseshoe Falls rendition. Unfortunately, that horseshoe attempt didn't work as well as I would have liked.

I don't like this one either. Painting has nothing to do with Amarillo, Texas. The title simply refers to the odd yellow tones through out.

The two below are unfinished, and were experiments in how to do certain techniques. I'm not sure if I will be attempting to paint on the same canvas, or discard them and start over. The "Florida Sunrise" was my attempt to capture the essence of a photograph I took while enjoying my first sunrise over an ocean out at Cocoa Beach, Florida.
